People in the Carson, California region recently passed by a little stray dog on the streets. The shepherd mix had been discarded like garbage. She was little more than skin loosely stretched over bones, and she suffered in silence.
When Suzette Hall, the creator of Logan’s Legacy 29, a rescue founded in memory of her son, was approached by Good Samaritans, she did not hesitate.
Every day, I sense him directing me to creatures in need via street rescue.
Suzette knew the rescuer and team who had been attempting to help the dog, soon to be called Coral, but due to the dog’s health, there was nowhere for her to go in the area. Suzette used her clout to get the dog transferred to Camino Pet Hospital.
This tiny infant need immediate medical attention. Suffering in agony on the agonizing streets by herself.
She is feeling better today. I completed a number of tests. She’s also taking medication to make her feel better. And some much-needed nourishment.
Coral will gradually heal thanks to skilled veterinarian treatment, which found she was malnourished, infested with worms, and infected with a tick-borne illness. She will be cared for until she gains weight and regains strength. Coral, like so many other dogs rescued from the streets, is lovely and appreciative for the assistance.
What would happen if there were no compassionate heroes to save these discarded souls?
