At this point in time, Brittany Mahomes has been the target of much backlash on the internet after her show of support for Donald Trump’s presidential bid. Even with this controversy, that didn’t stop her from showing her appreciation for Kansas City Chiefs’ Patrick Mahomes in a sweet message she posted online.
The couple first met at Whitehouse High School in Texas and attended prom together in 2013, marking the start of their relationship. After high school, Brittany played soccer at the University of Texas at Tyler, while Mahomes pursued football at Texas Tech University.
In 2017, Mahomes was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs, while Brittany signed with a professional soccer team in Iceland. Their paths eventually led them back to Kansas City, where Brittany became a certified fitness trainer and launched her own fitness brand.
The couple’s engagement came on September 2, 2020, during the Chiefs’ Super Bowl ring ceremony, a moment Mahomes described as more nerve-wracking than playing in the Super Bowl. They married on March 12, 2022, in a stunning ceremony in Maui, Hawaii, surrounded by family and friends.
As proud parents, the couple welcomed their daughter, Sterling Skye, in February 2021, followed by their son, Patrick “Bronze” Mahomes III, in November 2022. Recently, on July 12, 2024, they announced they are expecting their third child.
